Sunshine Coast residents are set to enjoy a new caravan show with the launch of the Sunshine Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo. The event will be held at Nambour Showgrounds from August 30th to September 1st.

The new Sunshine Coast caravan show is a welcome addition to the RV show calendar. With 35,000 registered caravans and campers located in the Sunshine Coast region as of 2018, this caravan-loving hotspot is set to embrace the new event.

The inaugural Sunshine Coast Caravan and Outdoor Expo will provide a huge variety of caravan, camping and outdoor products. There will be more than 80 exhibitors showcasing their wares, including 17 local RV businesses. Organisers say there’ll be a diverse array of products on display, from luxurious motorhomes to affordable, family-friendly camper trailers. There’ll also be towing education, masterclasses and activities for the kids.

To celebrate Father’s Day with a laugh, dads will be invited to face off in the Father’s Day Reversing Competition. The winning dad will go home not only with absurd amounts of glory, but also a prize pack full of more than $1200-worth of caravan and outdoors goodies.

As part of Caravanning Queensland’s local initiative, the Expo has invited local clubs and organisations to participate free of charge. That means all revenue generated through sales and food stalls will go straight back into the local community.
