ROH has launched the new Atlas 4WD wheel featuring a 1500kg load rating, four finishes and fitment for many of Australia's popular touring vehicles.

Australian wheel manufacturer ROH Wheels has unveiled the Atlas, a new 4WD wheel designed to combine bold styling with the strength needed for modern touring and off-road vehicles.

Engineered from the ground up for real-world load and impact, the Atlas features a 1500kg load rating across the entire range, making it suitable for many of Australia’s most popular dual-cab utes and touring SUVs.

Engineered for strength and compatibility

According to ROH, the Atlas was developed to strike the right balance between engineering and design, with a focus on strength, brake clearance and broad vehicle compatibility.

“Designing Atlas was about finding the right balance between engineering and style. Achieving generous brake clearance, exceptional structural strength and compatibility across both current and historic 6-stud 4WD applications were fundamental to the project,” said Mark Reina, Head of Product Development at ROH Wheels.

Once those engineering goals had been achieved, ROH turned its attention to creating a distinctive look.

“Once those engineering goals were achieved, the focus shifted to creating a bold, technical design that is instantly recognisable as an ROH wheel,” Mark said.

The Atlas is available exclusively in 6×139.7 fitments in the following sizes and offsets:

Built for Australian conditions

The Atlas is finished in a durable, weather-resistant coating designed to withstand harsh Australian conditions.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to see Atlas progress from an initial concept into a production wheel and now onto customers’ vehicles across Australia,” Mark said.

The new wheel is backed by a lifetime structural warranty and a three-year finish guarantee.

Why it matters for RV travellers

For many RV travellers, wheels need to do more than simply look good. Vehicles towing caravans or carrying touring accessories such as canopies, long-range fuel tanks and recovery gear place additional demands on their wheels.

With a 1500kg load rating, broad compatibility across many of Australia’s most popular touring vehicles and a lifetime structural warranty, the ROH Atlas has been designed with durability and long-distance touring in mind.

Drivers interested in the Atlas can use ROH’s online vehicle fitment tool or speak with an authorised ROH dealer to confirm the correct size and offset for their vehicle.
