The event isn’t until August 17th (running until August 19th), however spots are flying out the door and it’s only February.

It’s your last chance

We hate to break it to you (but you’ll thank us later for doing so) the Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash is the last remaining opportunity to experience the ultimate Outback music adventure. Sister event the Birdsville Big Red Bash is already sold out! It’s a jam-packed three days of family friendly music, camping and fun! Make sure to clear your calendar from August 17-19 for the biggest event ever staged in Outback NSW!

If you’re dreaming of dancing under wide open Aussie skies, to the sounds of the biggest names in Aussie music playing, then you’ve got to check out this event.

Who will be there?

Festival headliners, ICEHOUSE, are performing for the very first time in Broken Hill.

Alongside ICEHOUSE are Hoodoo Gurus, Human Nature, Pete Murray, The Angels, The Waifs, Kate Ceberano, Troy Cassar-Daley, Dragon, Thirsty Merc, Chocolate Starfish, Shane Howard, Jack Jones and Pierce Brothers. Oh, and did we mention Wendy Matthews, Grace Knight, The Chantoozies, Melanie Dyer, Caitlyn Shadbolt, Furnace and the Fundamentals and Mi-Sex?

Who can attend?

We mentioned it’s family friendly right? That means even the fur baby can tag along! The Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash is a dog-friendly camping event for all-ages. Children aged 11-and-under can attend for free. At the festival you’ll find nomads, camping and caravanning enthusiasts, families and travellers alike. Come along, make a new friend and have a ripper three days!

What else is on?

In addition to the music, the festival also has a jam-packed program of unique outback entertainment and activities. Surely you heard about the last Nutbush challenge? Well there’ll be more world record attempts for the ‘Nutbush’ dance this time around, as well as ‘Mad Max dress up’. If you want a belly laugh there’ll be comedy on offer plus some entertaining outdoor film screenings. If scenic helicopter flights and camel rides are more your style, you’ll be in luck here! Not to mention there’s the charity fun run known as the Mundi Undie Run. Better wear your best undies for that one. The furry friend can even get involved in the dog dress up competitions. Talk about variety.

Are there food and drinks?

This one’s a BYO when it comes to alcohol for both the campsite and concert areas. There will be a range of food vendors that have both food and non-alcoholic beverages, but if you’d prefer you can bring your own food.

The Broken Hill Mundi Mundi Bash is BYO alcohol for both the campsite and concert areas – and ticket holders are permitted to bring their own food.  A large range of food vendors selling both hot and cold food and non-alcoholic beverages are on-site.
