Product Safety Australia has issued a recall for over 700 motorhomes made by AMH Products Pty Ltd and sold under various brand names where the underbody water tank mounting rods may crack and the water tank may dislodge or fall off while the vehicle is in motion.
The recall notice that appeared on the Product Safety Australia website on the 9th of April states there is 711 affected motorhomes where the underbody water tank mounting rods may crack and the water tank may dislodge or fall off. The recall warns if the underbody water tank falls off the motorhome, it may increase the risk of an accident causing injury or death to road users.
The affected motorhomes are manufactured by AMH Products Pty Ltd and include Talvor Euro Deluxe (Iveco Daily), Euro Star (Iveco Daily) and Hayman Slide-Out Motorhomes as well as Winnebago Airlie, Burleigh, Coogee, Iluka, Jervis, Kirra and Whitehaven Motorhomes & Windsor Simpson and Flinders Motorhomes.
The affected vehicles were manufactured between February 2012 and December 2020 and were sold nationally through Apollo QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, TAS, Paddo’s RV Centre, Sydney RV Centre, Kratzmanns Caravans, George Day Caravans, Albury Wodonga RV World, Camperagent RV Centre, All Boats & Caravans, Australian Motorhomes and Jefferson RV World.

Consumers affected by the recall are advised to stop using their water tanks immediately.
AMH Products will contact affected consumers in writing to request that they make an appointment to have their motorhome repaired.
