RV Daily’s sister publication, Unsealed 4×4, recently had a special delivery. Yep, they managed to get their hands on a set of the brand new Lightforce BEAST LED driving lights for a first look at what’s inside the box. Our first impressions are that they look terrific. But we’ll have to wait for a full review coming out soon. In the meantime, we want to run you through the specs of these impressive-looking, Aussie-made, LED driving lights.
Lightforce BEAST and towing
At first look, what we love about the design of these Lightforce Beast LED driving lights, which we’ll touch on more later in this piece, is they offer three different output modes. This means, that if you are towing at night, and need more distance, more spread, or just as much light as possible – you can change the output of the lights. Pretty cool, and something that would be very useful for those traveling regularly when the sun has started to set.

What’s new?
The big difference with the BEAST lights from Lightforce, as mentioned above, is the three built-in operating modes. There’s Spot mode, which delivers the most distance. Flood mode, which provides more spread. And lastly, BEAST Mode – which as the name suggests, offers ALL the light. With the push of a button, you can quickly and simply change the light to suit the conditions you’re driving in. That’s pretty neat.
‘Spot Mode’
Beam distance 1 LUX @ 1497m / 1637yds. Beam width 60m / 66yds.
‘Flood Mode’
Beam distance: 1 LUX @ 778m / 851yds. Beam width 140m / 153yds.
‘BEAST Mode’
Beam distance: 1 LUX 1375m / 1504yds. Beam width 140m / 153yds
