With a renewed focus on providing even more bang for buck, Cub Campers has introduced the H14, a new luxury pop-top camper. The new hybrid shares much in common with the recently launched H16, including being Aussie-made from over 55 years of manufacturing experience.
Cub Campers says the H14 hybrid is the perfect couples’ caravan to travel around Australia in luxury without having to factor in an expensive tow vehicle. Although more compact than the H16, at 14ft the H14 still features an electronically opened pop-top roof that allows for a lower towing height and more practical caravan storage options. This lower height also comes with the added benefit of lower fuel consumption when travelling and a tapered body to reduce the drag effect.
Starting at $84,990, the H14 comes in at five thousand big ones less than the H16, but it doesn’t appear that Cub has skimped on luxury to achieve it. The interior has been carefully curated by lead Interior Designer, Amy Fagan, to bring to life the luxurious feeling Cub has quickly become renowned for.
Inside, you’ll find a Cub king pillow top mattress, an option for an internal 110L Dometic Coolmatic fridge, storage, a sink and two speakers. Like most hybrids, the H14’s design emphasises outdoor cooking, so outside, you’ll find a SMEV three-burner strainless stove and sink, Cub’s renowned textured stainless work surfaces, a Fiamma awning and external speakers.
Going off-grid is easier with a 150Ah lithium battery (five-year warranty), 180W Redarc Monocrystalline solar panels, a 100L freshwater tank and a 100L greywater tank. Options exist to expand on the H14’s off-grid capabilities even further.
Cub Camper’s H14 is currently available to pre-order on a first-come, first-served basis via a risk-free $2,000 deposit. During the immediate 30-day “cool off” after the initial deposit is made, your local Cub dealer will be in touch to confirm the final specs of your H14, and then a 10% deposit is required to progress production.
