Performax International now has stock of the new Ford F-250, which uses aluminium bodywork to reduce weight by around 140kg. There is still the same Powerstroke diesel engine,
which makes 328kW @ 2800rpm, and 1254Nm @ 1800rpm. This runs through a six-speed transmission with low range, and part-time 4WD.
The F-250 is priced from around $119,000 moving up past $150,000 for an up-specced Lariat.
The Ram Truck has joined all of the cool kids with the Code Black version, adding black highlights and black wheels to its Ram 2500 for the limited-edition run. It’s the same 6.7-litre, six-cylinder diesel under the bonnet, which makes 276kW @ 2800rpm, and 1084Nm @ 1600rpm.
How much? The Ram 2500 Code Black goes for $149,500, which does get you plenty of specs for the money.
