Have you ever wondered what it would be like to travel in an over-the-top luxury RV as the rich and famous do? Well, strap in and hold onto your cowboy hats because we’re about to take you on a wild ride through the most luxurious RVs on the planet. So grab your champagne flutes and caviar spoons, and let’s hit the road with these rolling mansions.
This luxury RV has a helipad and hot tub on the roof
This wouldn’t be a bonkers list of luxury RVs if we didn’t include one that has its own helipad and hot tub. The Furrion Elysium is a concept vehicle that was first showcased back in 2017 in Las Vegas. It’s ideal for those who aren’t particularly fun to go camping with because they need to take the whole house with them, including their helicopter. It’s also ideal for those with a minimum of AUD 3.72 million (USD 2.5 million) spare in their wallet.
Check it out here:
Of course, this video left us with many questions, such as, “Who leaves a perfectly good Range Rover in the middle of the desert?” But possibly our favourite questions in the comments section are from those looking at it from a practical perspective. These include my personal favourites:
“Where’s the footage of when a gust of wind suddenly tilts the helicopter at landing so that the rotor blades decapitate everyone in the hot tub? Good feature, quick way to get rid of unwanted spouses!”
…and this gem that was probably written by a parent who has taken an RV holiday to the beach with kids before:
“Who cleans the bucket of sand out of the jacuzzi every time a chopper lands or takes off?”
Nevertheless, this RV is clearly over-the-top luxurious. If you thought the rooftop was to die for, you should see the interior. Everything is state of the art, including the toilet, which is apparently a smart toilet. What even is that? It also boasts a fireplace for ambience, multiple massive TVs, a shower that doubles as a steam room and a wine fridge.
Do we want one? Yes, but only if it comes with the helicopter.
A luxury RV with a party lounge up top? Hell yeah!
The ultra-luxe eleMMent Palazzo Superior from Austrian brand Marchi Mobile is next-level bonkers with a sky lounge area that raises out of the roof via the touch of a button and a fishbowl-style cockpit that looks like it belongs on a submarine.
So while a rooftop party deck isn’t usually a feature we look for in a luxurious RV, it does have all the usual stuff we would expect from a top-dollar vehicle. This includes a fully decked-out kitchen, a large entertainment area, a master bedroom and a spa-style bathroom. This one happens to have a lot of extras as well. As it should, with a price tag of reportedly around AUD 4.45 million (USD 3 million).
Stretching 13.7 metres long and riding 4 metres high (6 metres with the roof deck open), the eleMMent Palazzo Superiour is massive. In fact, when fully expanded, there are 68 square metres of interior space thanks to its 2.55-metre driving width that expands to 5 meters when parked. Powered by a 600hp Volvo six-cylinder engine paired with automatic transmission, this road giant weighs in at 28 tonnes.
As one fan pointed out on their YouTube channel, “Unlike many luxury RVs, this one’s practical since it has space on board for your sports car.” Except … I don’t think it actually does have space for your sports car. But check out the luxury RV below that does!
Do we want one? Hell yeah. But someone else is going to have to pay for it.
Park your Bugatti in this Luxury RV
Germany’s Volkner Mobil are well known for building over-the-top luxurious RVs, but the Volkner Mobil Performance really stepped it up with space to tote your sports car around. Turns out a Bugatti Chiron fits perfectly in the storage underneath. Who would have guessed?
Priced at over AUD 3.18 million (EUR 2.03 million), If you have one of these parked in your driveway, I guess there’s a good chance that you will actually need to make use of the supercar storage down below.
The features on this luxury RV are endless, with slide-out walls, solar panels for 1,800 amp-hours of battery capacity, a stereo responsible for AUD 470,000 (EUR 300,000) of the total price and power-rising storage areas for your plates and cutlery. The inside is classy with hand-crafted wood veneer, a full kitchen, wine cabinets, white upholstery and a massive shower.
Measuring 12 metres in length, this luxury mansion on wheels is powered by either a Volvo engine for 339kW of power or a Mercedes powerplant for 316kW, both of which are offered with automatic transmission.
Do we want one? Of course. But do we have to take it in eggplant colour?
The Foretravel Presidential Series Realm FS605
With a range of layouts to choose from, including a ‘luxury villa bunk with spa’, the Foretravel Presidential Series Realm is a true rolling mansion. According to Foretravel, the exterior paint schemes and associated detail require around 750 man-hours to complete just one. All exteriors are custom designed and limited to a very select few each year. By select few, I’m assuming they mean those with large wallets as you’ll need a spare AUD 2.08 million (USD 1.4 million) to get your hands on one of these luxury RVs.
Luxury features include opulent interiors, high-end quartz countertops, leather seating and slide-out rooms that drop down to feature a true flat floor when extended. Sitting on a Spartan K4 Chassis and powered by a Cummins x15 605 HP Engine, this luxury RV is comfortable enough for permanent living. In fact, it’s probably more comfortable than my actual house!
