Simpson Desert Bike Challenge 2018 – Purni Bore, SA to Birdsville, Qld
September 25-29, 2018

Dust the bike off and start pedalling, because the Simpson Desert Bike Challenge is set to take place soon. Competitors will journey through the rugged desert, navigating their way through sand dunes, salt lakes, vast cattle stations and gibber plains. The five-day event covers roughly 590 kilometres, starting from the western edge of the Simpson Desert in SA, and concluding outside a classic Aussie icon, the Birdsville Hotel, in the Queensland outback.

Pambula Motorfest and Swap Meet – Pambula, NSW
September 29-30, 2018

Taking place in the picturesque Bega Valley on the far south coast of NSW, the Pambula Motorfest isn’t just a car show – it’s also a charity event that raises money for a variety of local causes, including those for cancer, depression and the Tathra Bushfire Fund. Any vehicle can enter: cars, 4WDs, trucks, tractors, bikes, race boats and even lawn mowers. More than 5000 people are expected to attend and exhibitors will be coming from all across Australia, so make sure you’re there.

You won’t want to dodge this meeting.
