If you’ve been following TRAKKA for a while now, you’ll know that they’re a Sydney-based, family-run company in its 51st year of producing high-end, compact campervans and van motorhomes. Given their half a century of experience, they’ve already mastered the recipe for what works well in terms of key layouts and inclusion. To cut a long story short, they’re already a classy cut above the rest.

But it seems they’ve taken it a step further with the new MY25 specifications, which is chock full of new features and appliances. From an advanced 48V electrical hub, new 240V appliances, home-style entertainment, new colours and new experiences, here’s what you can expect from TRAKKA’s new MY25 range:

Revolutionary EcoFlow electrical hub

TRAKKA has unveiled an innovative 48V electrical system with plug-and-play simplicity and instant setup. The Power Hub consolidates what used to be separate, such as inverters and DC2DC chargers, into one compact unit that allows you to charge via a 3000W 240V power input, 1000W alternator input, and up to 4800W of solar input. The inverter provides up to 3600W AC output and 1500W DC output.

That’s all good but what about the batteries? The offering here is not slouchy either, with 5kWh stackable lithium batteries as standard (for a max of 300Ah), with an option to upgrade to 10kWh (for 833Ah) or 15kWh on LWB models (for a whopping 1,248Ah).

This increased battery capacity not only allows you to stay off-grid longer but also enjoy a more home-like touring experience, allowing TRAKKA the ability to offer these additional features:

Extra comforts from home

Electric water heater: TRAKKA is moving away from all gas and diesel-fuelled appliances and transitioning to a true ‘single fuel source’.

Underbench Panasonic 4-in-1 combination convection microwave: This little magic maker allows you to steam, roast, grill and heat, providing flexibility beyond induction cooking.

External Ninja Kitchen woodfire electric BBQ: The name kind of sells itself, doesn’t it? Using wood chips for a more rich flavour, apparently it can BBQ, grill, roast, smoke, air fry, dehydrate and bake.

L’OR Barista coffee machine: This needs no apologies. Of course you want comforts from home – that’s why you’re reading about RVs and not tents.

Other fun appliances and comforts include the option of a portable Nebula Cosmos Laser 4K projector and Elite screen, under bench Midea dishwasher, boot-mounted washing machine, portable Dyson vacuum, Dyson bladeless fan and ready to escape packs, such as outdoor table and chair sets.

New standard features across all models

Setting these additional features aside, new standard features across all models include:

  • Dual induction cooktop.
  • Ducted room air-cool and heating (no more roof-mounted air-con or diesel room heating).
  • 150L fridge/freezer (with the ability to upgrade to 170L and an additional 30L drawer fridge in LWB models).
  • 500W solar (with option of 750W in LWB models).

New materials

Once you’ve toured a TRAKKA campervan or motorhome, it’s quite easy to recognize the aesthetic when you see another one, with concealed blind frames, cabinetry finishes, benchtop and splashback textures, and automotive-style wall lining. MY25 introduces a more cozy home feel and style with an array of contemporary designs and colours.

  • Choice of overall themes such as ‘natural country living’, ‘mid-century modern vibe’ and more.
  • New hardware including drawer catches, taps and overhead shower in black and brushed gold.
  • Embossed acoustic lining panels constructed from a minimum of 51% recycled PET in a modern interweave design.
