The Akuna features a 48V electrical system as well as a power hub that combines charging and inverted power in one compact unit. Solar capacity comes standard with 460W of solar power (upgradable to 690W and 920W on long-wheelbase models) and a standard 5kWh (app 416Ah) of lithium battery. Designed for self-sufficient travel, the Global Xplorer offers substantial fuel and water capacities, varying by chassis choice:​
