The Sydney 4WD & Adventure Show is coming up this September at Sydney Dragway, Eastern Creek. It’s the biggest 4WD Show in NSW, and 2024 is set to be bigger than ever.

Show visitors will even have the opportunity to win a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that covers six days in the West Kimberley in Western Australia. Valued at $25,000, the only thing you need to do to enter is to buy your tickets online or scan the QR code once you’re at the show.

What you’ll find at this year’s show

The bigger question is what won’t you find at the 4WD & Adventure Show…but we’ll try to narrow it down for you.

Rock Crawling Championships

Don’t miss the Rock Crawling Championships on Tough Dog Mountain at the Sydney 4WD & Adventure Show in 2024. Visitors can watch crazy buggies, and even crazier drivers, test their skills and vehicles’ capabilities on a purpose-built rock wall. This event is guaranteed exciting to watch!

4WD recovery and reversing demos

For anyone getting into 4WDing or for those who need a refresher, Getabout Training Services and Tow-Ed will be presenting regular demos on the use of snatch straps, winching, towing and reversing.

Bush Mechanics Area

New to the Sydney 4WD & Adventure Show this year is the Bush Mechanics Area, presented by Geoff Lewis from Seriously Series and sponsored by Terrain Tamer 4WD. Visitors are encouraged to pre-book a seat to watch one of the two sessions held each day, where you’ll learn the basics of what can go wrong with your vehicle when travelling and how to fix it as simply as possible.

The Tough Dog Traction Track

Those interested in the technical aspects of 4WDing and vehicles should head to the Tough Dog Traction Track, which is set up with specially designed ramps that allow the audience to see the suspension flexing and when traction is lost. Of course, tips are given on how to overcome these issues.

Hema Maps Adventure Travel Stage

Another new feature in 2024 is the Hema Maps Adventure Travel Stage, where visitors can gain insider knowledge on iconic Australian destinations. Hear from people who’ve done the trips and learn from their experience. Four sessions will be held each day at the show.

Bendix 4WD Test Track

Yet another new feature (I told you it was going to be bigger than ever) is the Bendix 4WD Test Track, which will allow visitors to actually get in for a test drive around a purpose-built track that includes six different obstacles that you’ll find on off-road tracks.

Two-wheel adventures

It wouldn’t be a 4WD show if we didn’t talk about all the other fun ways you can head off-road. You’ll also find a motorcycle track set up for test rides, which also includes tests and demos of quad bikes and side-by-sides. With thanks to the team at Mount Hart Station on the West Australian Kimberley, there’ll even be helicopter rides!

Isuzu Iron Summit

Crowd favourite Isuzu Iron Summit is back again, offering visitors an extreme 4WD experience. Strap in as your driver takes you up a seriously steep 45-degree climb over a custom-built hydraulic ramp six meters in the air.

Returning favourites

Returning in 2024 is the Engel Bush Camp Stage, with special guests that include Jock and Jesse from 4WD24/7, Jase Andrews from All 4 Adventure, Ronny Dahl, Sam Eyles, Bridget from Red Dirt Diary and the team from Channel 7’s The 4WD Adventure Show.

The Berkeley Fishing Show will be back with regular demos in the Supertank, as well as John’s Reptile Awareness display and Show Your Dirt. Show Your Dirt is an exclusive show-and-shine comp that will see some of the best rigs displayed and judged. Sam Eyles from Built Not Bought has selected his top 20 vehicles, and the winners will be announced on Sunday afternoon.

Check out new products

The show features all the big brands in caravans, camper trailers and motorhomes, new 4WDs and SUVs, camping and 4WD accessories, fishing gear and more. This is the perfect opportunity to try before you buy or pick up a show sale.
