Just last month, Hummingbird Electronics released their updated RF Battery Monitor Kit, which can remotely monitor up to 16 batteries at once – perfect if you have multiple batteries in your vehicle, caravan or home. The RF Battery Monitor, designed and manufactured in Australia, is easy to install and use; you simply plug the receiver (screen) into your vehicle’s standard cigarette lighter socket. It is multi-voltage compatible (12/24V) and works with all types of batteries. You can set a threshold for the batteries’ voltage, so you will be alerted with beeps and flashing when the battery reaches the designated level. The kit includes a compact high-resolution colour monitor, a Wireless RF Battery Transmitter, a cigarette lighter plug for connection to power and sturdy mount.
