Outdoor enthusiasts, mark your calendars! The Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is back—bigger and better than ever—from 25th to 27th October 2024 at the Adelaide Showground. This year, the show combines two major events: the Club Marine SA Boat Show and the Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show, creating the ultimate destination for anyone passionate about the great outdoors.
This exciting event is South Australia’s largest gathering of outdoor lifestyle experts and enthusiasts, offering visitors the chance to see, try, and buy all the latest in caravans, camper trailers, 4WDs, SUVs, fishing gear, boats, and more. Whether you’re into caravanning, camping, off-roading, or boating, the Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is your one-stop shop for everything you need to explore the great outdoors.
What’s new in 2024?
With a record number of exhibitors, 2024 promises new attractions, entertainment, and plenty of opportunities to get hands-on with the latest products from major outdoor brands. Show Director Peter Woods says, “Whatever outdoor pursuit you are into – whether it’s 4WDing, fishing, camping, caravanning, boating – everything you need is all here in the one place.”
The event showcases new releases from top brands, including Jayco Australia, ARB, 23Zero, Hardkorr, and many more. You’ll also find leading names in 4WD accessories, such as Ironman 4×4, Rhino-Rack, Terrain Tamer, and Pro 4×4.
If you’re in the market for a new boat, the SA Boat Show will feature a huge range of vessels, from fishing boats to luxury pontoon boats, presented by top exhibitors like Southern Cross Marine and Yamaha Pitmans Marine.
Interactive experiences for everyone
The Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is more than just an exhibition—it’s a fully interactive experience. Get tips and tricks from experts in 4WD recovery, camp cooking, fishing, and boating, and take part in live demonstrations throughout the event.
New to 4WDing? Head over to the Toyo Tires Open Country Zone, where you can learn essential skills like winching and towing through hands-on demonstrations by Follow Me 4WD.
For those who love the technical side of 4WDing, don’t miss the Tough Dog Traction Track. Here, you can watch vehicles tackle specially designed ramps, demonstrating suspension flex, traction, and performance on challenging terrain.
Explore, learn, and be inspired
New in 2024 is the Hema Maps Adventure Travel Stage, where you can get inside knowledge from seasoned travellers on some of Australia’s most iconic destinations. Whether you’re planning a trip or just dreaming of one, these expert-led sessions will provide invaluable insights.
Another exciting addition is the Bush Mechanics Area, led by Geoff Lewis from Seriously Series and sponsored by Terrain Tamer 4WD. Learn what to do when things go wrong on the road and how to fix common mechanical issues in the simplest way possible.
Family fun and entertainment
The show is packed with family-friendly activities, including live animal presentations by Wilbur’s Wildlife, featuring snakes and reptiles, along with advice on how to stay safe in the bush. The Isuzu Ute Iron Summit is back, offering visitors a chance to experience the thrill of a 45-degree climb from the comfort of an Isuzu D-MAX or MU-X.
If fishing is your passion, check out the newly revamped Fishing Stage and the massive Berkley Supertank—a 12,000-litre tank that offers a fish-eye view of lure and bait fishing techniques. Meet Sam Birch, WA’s Barra King, and learn from his incredible stories about fishing in the wild Kimberley region.
