The outdoor leisure scene in Adelaide is set to reach new heights this October with the highly anticipated Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show. Taking place at the Adelaide Showground, this unique event, presented alongside the Club Marine SA Boat and Fishing Show, promises an unforgettable experience for outdoor enthusiasts, combining two fantastic shows in one.

A one-stop destination for outdoor  enthusiasts

The Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is a veritable playground for outdoor enthusiasts, offering a vast array of products and services related to the outdoor leisure industry. Attendees can explore a diverse range of exhibits, including leading brands in caravans, camper trailers, motorhomes, new 4WDs, SUVs, and camping accessories. Additionally, the show boasts an impressive display of new boats, marine equipment, and fishing tackle.

Beyond the exhibitions, the event features a jam-packed schedule of activities throughout the weekend. With three bustline stage areas, special guest appearances, demo zones, and exciting prizes and giveaways, the Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show, in conjunction with the Club Marine SA Boat and Fishing Show, promises an unmissable experience for outdoor enthusiasts of all types.

Interactive experiences for adventure seekers

The 4WD and Adventure Show is more than just an exhibition; it’s an interactive experience designed to equip visitors with the knowledge, tips, and inspiration to embark on their own adventures. Show Director Peter Woods emphasizes the importance of providing visitors with real-world experiences that help inform their purchasing decisions.

“We like to give a try-before-you-buy type experience where we can and see this event as an ideal place to get up close and personal with the products they are looking at buying, and giving them a real experience to help in decision making,” said Peter. 

Exciting additions to this year’s show include the return of the Isuzu Iron Summit, providing visitors with an extreme 4WD experience and showcasing the capabilities of Isuzu vehicles. Another highlight is the introduction of the Tough Dog Traction Track, which offers a close look at vehicle capabilities through specially designed ramps. The event also features camp cooking demonstrations, fishing showcases, boat license testing, and special guest appearances. 

Club 4×4 Adventure Hub and Madventure Stage

A major attraction at the Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is the Club 4×4 Adventure Hub, offering technical and practical information on 4WDing to prepare visitors for exploring the Australian wilderness. The hub includes a Recovery Demo area with demonstrations on 4WD recoveries, towing, reversing, and other technical tips, as well as the new Tough Dog Suspension Track.

New this year is the Madventure Overland Stage, an interactive stage area featuring expert presentations on various topics throughout the weekend. This stage equips attendees with valuable knowledge about the gear they need and how to use it effectively, with expert journalist Evan Spence providing insights and tips.

Meet the special guests

In 2023, the Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show is thrilled to welcome special guests Graham and Jock from 4WD 247, along with Jase Andrews from All 4 Adventure, fresh from his epic adventures in Northern Australia. Other notable guests include Ronny Dahl and Sam Eyles. These special guests will share their experiences and insights on the Engel Bush Camp Stage.

Content Creator’s Area

The event’s Content Creator’s Area, launched four years ago, has grown into a major attraction. Well-known content creators from platforms like Instagram and YouTube attend the show, speaking to audiences about their adventures and meeting with their followers. Don’t miss the Dometic Outdoor Content Creator Area for a chance to catch up with your favourite creators. 

Fishing and Boating Zone

The Club Marine SA Boat and Fishing Show brings together the latest displays of boats, accessories, and fishing gear. A highlight is the Fishing Stage hosted by the Just A Girl team, featuring expert fishing presentations throughout the weekend. Visitors can also browse fishing tackle displays and grab great deals. Additionally, show visitors can conveniently take their boat license test at the event, thanks to Surf Lifesaving SA.

The Adelaide 4WD and Adventure Show will be held at the Adelaide Showground on Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th October from 9 am to 5 pm.  Tickets are $20 for adults, $10 for children, $16 for concessions and $50 for families. Two-day and three-day passes are also available. Tickets can be purchased online or at the gate.
