Since revolutionizing the all-terrain tyre in 1976, BFGoodrich has consistently set the benchmark for off-road performance. Now, they’re raising the bar once again with the introduction of the BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO3 tyre. Designed to meet the evolving demands of off-road enthusiasts, this tyre builds on the proven success of the KO2, delivering enhanced durability, toughness, and traction for all your off-road adventures.
“BFGoodrich Tyres’ legendary toughness has been made tougher with the creation of the All-Terrain KO3 tyre,” said Harold Phillips, BFGoodrich Global General Manager. “We’ve done a lot of racing and research in the 10 years since we launched the KO2 tyre, so a decade of data, feedback, technology and experience went into the development of the KO3 tyre. We are our own competition, and we knew it was time to take the all-terrain tyre to another level. It will be exciting to see what consumers will do – at work and at play – with the KO3 tyre.”
BFGoodrich Australia is set to roll out over 60 sizes of the KO3 tyre in the next 24 months, ensuring a perfect fit for a wide range of vehicles and RVs. Starting in September, 38 sizes will be introduced in three phases, covering 80% of BFGoodrich’s all-terrain market in Australia. The remaining sizes will be available by 2026, completing the lineup.
Here’s why the BFGoodrich KO3 is the ideal choice for your next off-road RV adventure
Treadwear: The KO3 features a new tread pattern and all-terrain compound, offering exceptional durability and longevity even on rough, gravel roads. With an optimized footprint and full-depth 3D locking sipes, the KO3 ensures even wear and extended mileage, making it a reliable partner for long road trips.
Toughness: Built with CoreGard Technology, the KO3 boasts superior sidewall toughness, earning it the Baja Champion badge. The Advanced Deflection Design prevents sidewall snags and splits, giving you peace of mind while exploring challenging terrains.
Traction: Whether you’re navigating muddy trails or snowy mountain roads, the KO3 is built to grip. Its serrated shoulder design and MudPhobic Bars improve traction in mud and snow, while the new tread compound enhances wet traction. The KO3 also stops 4.2 meters shorter than the KO2, providing an extra layer of safety for your off-road RV adventures.
The All-Terrain T/A KO3 tyre is the newest addition to BFGoodrich’s Terrain Family, setting a new standard for off-road performance. For more information and to equip your tow vehicle and trailer for its next journey, visit the BFGoodrich website.
