Last year, BeTRITON launched a very quirky amphibious camper bike, which we covered here. You can pedal it, sleep in it and boat with it. But after gathering feedback from renting it out over the last 12 months in Europe, it was clear that people really appreciated the boating function, and as a result, they’ve now launched a new ‘trailer’ version.
All three functions – boating, camping and biking – remain intact with the new BeTriton, but it can now be towed overland by a standard e-bike.
BeTriton is on a mission to revolutionise the way people travel and engage with nature, building fully electric amphibious campers for sustainable and unique travel experiences over both land and water. Although you can purchase them, the company focuses on offering the products as a rental vehicle.
Starting at EUR €9,900 (AUD $16,100), they’re not yet available in Australia, but when they are, hopefully we can get our hands on one to try it out.
