  3. Pat

Love the new online RV Daily mag and thanks for the interesting talk at the Brisbane camping show. Just a suggestion for the new mag – can you give us a way to download it so that we can enjoy it when we are offline? After all, wouldn’t we all rather be well away civilisation and ringing phones camped beside a nice creek reading RV Daily?

    Thanks, Andrew Kilgallon

  4. Love it already great mag ,I’m a disabled Veteran with back issues so I would love to see some articles on replacement seating maybe ones that are mechanical , turn 90 degrees and com out and lower giving me easier access to my vehicle at the moment I have a Towjoe ( Toyota Landcrusier ) but I think I’ll be swapping to a BT 50 Dual cab or Ford Ranger Trax witch is the same thing just badge changes. Great job look forward to your additional issues regards Scott

  5. Great looking magazine, well done. Thanks for the article on the Ball Weights, I bought Proseries ball scale and found them to be very poor quality so a friend of mine suggested to get a Mister Hitches Towsafe brand scales and they work a treat, very accurate and sturdy.
Good luck with the mag and I look forward to more new product features. Cheers Neil

  6. Hi. Very interesting and informative information. We retired 2015 and now with resettlement accomplished we look forward to seeing more of our great country. Your articles will help with our decisions. Thankyou good job.

  7. My wife Faye and I with my cousin Geoff and his wife Hilary have been up through the Centre and are keen in seeing many other exciting places in this great country. Looking forward to many more editions of RV Daily and good luck to everyone.

  10. Looking forward to retiring and that beautiful caravan will be a good start. Your magazine will come in handy, with all the good tips in it.
Thank you for this opportunity to enter this competitio .

  11. thanks RV Daily what great reading as new to towing vans in australia interesting articles to our new adventures .
due to retire in next few months ,get a van and travel .
just bought a new 4×4 collarado so good to read about power upgrades for towing .
    look forward to next edition

  12. I have ten years of 4×4 magazines haven’t thrown one out yet ,have followed Pat Callinans adventures right from when he watched his first 4×4 disintegrate in the ocean ! keep up the good work

  13. I can’t get your ‘enter caravan comp’ page to allow me to put in an entry in my wife’s name (from same computer) now that I have entered in my name. I know the entries are ONE per month, per person. When I call up the comp. page it shows MY details rather than an empty fields ‘entre’ page. Please explain. Ted

    • You need to hit the “log out” on the competition page. Should then come up with blank entry fields, so that your wife can enter

  14. I have’nt owned a caravan as yet, but will be getting one in the near furture. What I would like to no is it better to buy a single or tandem axle, I’m only looking at a seventeen foot semi off road or full off road, some advice would be great cheers.

  15. Great magazine and an even greater TV shows; Pat Callinan’s 4 X 4 Adventure with the two new VW Amarok manual & Auto Pat.
Looking forward to putting on a Safari snorkel on my trusty Toyota Prado.
    Dan

  16. Always enjoy watching your show I enjoy getting away camping fishing up in high country ang sitting back enjoying the view and relaxing with cold one .

  17. Wonderful competition that anyone would be so happy to win. Thankyou for a great read. Love seeing new thinks on your page and getting great advise.

  18. The magazine is a great read, but to win a new van would be just fantastic. Thanks for the chance to have a win.

  19. I WOULD LOVE TO WIN THE CARAVANS YOU HAVE IN YOUR COMPETITION. I HAVE A LAND ROVER DISCOVERY AND WOULD LIKE TO TOUR THE OUTBACK MORE.

  20. I can’t get the competition to show I have put an entry in. I put an entry in for my husband but when I logout it says I haven’t any entries. Do I have to subscribe to the magazine to qualify to enter?

    • Hi Judy,

This simply means that you need to log back in to see how many entries you have. If you are looking to enter under you own email, i would log back in as your husband, share the unique code with your email and enter using the email you receive. This will give your husband an additional entry, whilst also giving you one as well.

      Good luck!

  21. very informative and a great read, my family and i are going to be taking a camping holiday over Christmas break and all info is appreciated and helpful. anything that makes it better is good. thank for the great magazine

  24. Just watched your show, loved it!!!!!! My husband & I are getting ready to travel this wonderful country on an indefinite working holiday, you have given us some extra fantastic tips for our journey. Thank you, hope to see you on the road..safe travels!!

  25. Thanks for a great first edition and to kick it off with a great prize like the J.B. Gator caravan has me thinking, after losing our van in the May 2015 floods which hit the storage area at Deception Bay, we at least have an opportunity to hit the roads to just some of the great iconic places that this great country of ours has on offer. My wife” 99″ and I sadly miss the nomadic lifestyle as we spent six years using our van as our home. To any newbies out there I enviously wish you all a wonderfully happy and safe travels.
    Cheers 86

  26. Can’t Wait.
Love your show. Always great ideas and handy hints. Heading up to the Cape at the end of the month. Watch out for a couple of “young at heart” unseasoned travelers with lots to learn.

  27. We love our sunburned country, a land of sweeping plains. Rugged mountain ranges, droughts and flooding rains.
We love her far horizons and her jeweled seas. Her beauty and her terror. The wide brown land for me.
We truly live in the lucky country.

  28. Thanks for a great competition. I entered last month and now am trying to enter again this month but am having trouble! I have tried logging out of competition page and starting anew but it then directs me to log back in and then it directs me to the previous entires. How can you enter again for the next month?

  29. Great prizes, great magazine.
Look forward to seeing what’s happening and what’s new.
I’m sure the van will look good behind the Sorento

  40. My partner and I are always talking about traveling around Australia one day. The only problem is we only have a GU Patrol Wagon at the moment with no caravan to hitch up, so to win this prize would be a dream come true. Love your all new magazine it’s a great read, good going guys.

  41. both myself and my partner have been doing the camping thing for quite some time now,but am getting a bit sick of the whole tent setting up thing. we are just starting to look at a camper trailer or van to take the next step into our outdoor adventures, to win something like one of these 2 prizes would just be a dream come true.

  42. Just retired and am planning a lot of driving, and all the imformation I have been able to get ,and be able to get later, will give me great help over my travels. Hopefully for some years.

    xxx dee

  53. Same as a lot of other people it seems. The competition site will not allow more than one entry although T & Cs advise that you can make an entry ‘every calander month’. Love the mag. Awesome info and travel tips. Just bought a Disco and hopefully travelling soon.

  56. BEING DISABLED AND USELESS I’D JUST LOVE THIS CARAVAN. ONE.- IT WOULD MAKE MY HUSBAND HAPPY BECAUSE HE GENERALLY HATES TO SPEND IT. AND SECONDLY, AFTER BEING IN A WHEELCHAIR SINCE I WAS NINETEEN YEARS OLD I
FEEL LIKE SEEING OUR COUNTRY A BIT……….SO LOOK OUT!!

  57. I entered in June & got “1”, entry? when I clicked on the enter button for July & this month it doesn’t give me the opportunity to re enter, just comes up with my details & says I have “1” entry, I even logged out & tried again, but still says I have “1” entry, it should say I have “3” entries

  58. The caravanning phenomenon up coral bay way in WA is incredible, so is the terrain and scenery in between.
It’s definitely something I’m looking forward to doing on my bucket list with my wife of 21 years this year.
The prize would be an ultimate way to set off on the adventure.

    Good luck everyone

  59. Enjoyable and very inspiring. Wouldn’t it be lovely to win so I may take two grandies and mum for a awesome adventure in our beautiful country.πŸ‘

  60. Im having the same issue as Jennifer Smith. I have 3 entries and everytime I submit another entry it says “its done” but it still shows only 3 entries??? Is there something Im not doing correctly or is there a site issue?

  61. We would dearly love to go caravanning more often but health reasons stop us from doing so. Your magazines help to keep us up to date with really useful information and other travellers stories. Thank you, Dave and Cheryll Townsend.

  62. Having the same problems of trying to enter each month and it goes to ‘you have 1 Entry’ and won’t accept a new one..

shows a footer at the bottom right corner ‘Enter The $110k Competition” follow that link and it goes back to… you have 1 Entry..

  63. A couple of our friends have caravans and get so exited about planning their next trip. When they return they also get very exited about the great adventure they had. We would love to get very exited about telling them we WON a caravan and are joining them . πŸ™‚

  64. Hi. Love your magazine. Just visited Cape York with friends. It was wonderful even though we camped in a tent. Would love to win and be able to do future travel in comfort with reliability advertising your name. What a glorious country we live in. Cant wait to get out there and see more. Keep up the good work.

    Ros Thompson

  65. Hi Pat and the team

I thoroughly enjoy your magazine, and I don’t even own an RV yet. Can I suggest that a column written by private travellers would be well received? A kind of “this is where we are and this what we’re doing, and this is how we live” article. I reckon you’d have no trouble finding contributors. Just a thought.

  66. do not own a van as yet waiting for money to come but when it does i will be moveing about. this is a great magaseanlots of good reading and fab pictures not forgeting the good advice im an x trucky but don,t hold that against me and at 73 years of age im looking forward to the day i &my partner can start adventuring back on the highways keep up the good info yours truly albert.

  67. Great reading, I have never been out of Australia.
I love country and would like to see as much as I can.
With this give a way I’ll be able to do this with great style

  68. I have traveled thru most of Oz but due to recent medical problem would love to see a van with a door wide enough to allow for wheelchair access. .I have driven 4wd”s since 1985 from Landrovers , Discovery x2 Thru to Pajeros x5 and found them all suitable for towing. Any suggestions as to where we can locate a van would be truly appreciated regards Richard Davies

  69. Mal we would love to win this van as we had to sell ours after 3 quarters of aus and we would like to do some more and see what we have missed

  70. The terms say that “For the purpose of this competition, a unique person is constituted by a unique email address, phone number, first name and last name”. Does this mean if i have more than one email address that I can enter more than once?

    • Hi Peter, all of the details need to be unique – as your first and last name and most likely your phone number would remain the same, you can’t enter as a separate person. Hope that clarifies things, and good luck in the competition!

  71. me and my partner would love to win a van to get out and about hoe ever No 13 i still on my rist one can only hopeNumbrer i comes folowed by No3 that e makes 13best of luck toall. good vans like these deserve good winners.

  72. me and the cook have always been a bit short on $$$ to have anything decent 6 kids & 18 grand kids would be nice for once
to have something nice before we drop and to go on the run with thanks col & kaz

  73. I’ve been caravanning for years, firstly with my parents then my wife and kids now its just the wife and I, I find your magazine great. Macca’s unless info was also really true, I can’t light fires in the back yard so no therapy . The mag info on trips and places as well as manufacture details also great.Just keep up the good work

  74. 65 , retired and an NT Pajero ” without a Tow Hitch ” much to John Hughe’s amazement . Need I say more other than my Wife and I are ready to roll . Whish us luck in your comp .

  75. It’ s fun to read your magazine, wants me to immediately pack my bags and hit the road.
Good tips and vibrant layout, hope to travel soon again away from the business, and live the great life style.
    The best for the sole!
Thanks for the opportunity to enter and win a great Van.

  76. Looking for to retirement in about 2years hope to do the big trip then. Have gu patrol will have a 4.2 turbo engine in it bye then love to have a new van bye then to replace our old viscount pop top 14ft.

  77. this is some thing I would love to have I would love to travel we have done a little but I find it hard as we only have a camper van and it is two hard for me to get in and out and it is cold we have to only go when the weather is very good as you no in Tassie we don’t get a lot of warm days so we can only go a few times a year I love camping and hope I can say we can go when ever we want to I would love that and thank you for the chance to dream

  78. As a Disabled, mid-lifer, my hubby and I have all children gone, so it is our turn to be gone as well as visit all 10 grandchildren, I would love the caravan, but we want to take off for 12 months or so, and look at our own backyard, look at different places around Australia.
Watching Pat Callihan on the weekends, he has given us the bug to get a cub camper trailer and go to the off road places, I don’t think a caravan would be any good. Look at old towns, empty towns, and do different things just for a change.
Therefore, Prize 2 would be sufficient for us and a dream come true.
    xxx Dee

  79. we dont own a caravan yet ! and on wrong side of 50′ s so it would be great to win ! I only have one 1 entry I thought you could put 1 in a month but site wont let me ! john &sue. s .

  80. My wife and I have had owning, and traveling on an extended caravan holiday in our retirement, on our bucket list for quite some years. Unfortunately, whenever we have come close to achieving our dream, some form of family crisis or illness has dashed our plans. We still live in hope and maybe your competition will provide us the chance. Here’s hoping.

  81. I would love to win as I have had spinal surgery and would love to travel around aus and enjoy this great country of ours hope I win

  82. I would love to get some work done to my Nissan so that I can travel with the security that my 4×4 wont break down while im traveling around ,aus also like your magazines.

  83. Would love to be able to retire doing what we love most ….travelling this beautiful country of ours. Caravan life would be so exciting with so many places to see and new people to meet. What a dream come true it would be!!

  84. When i watch Pat or i read his publications, i yearn for the freedom of the bush. Even though my work takes me to remote places, i still dream of spending time away with my family on my timetable, doing the things i want to do with my wife and kids

  85. I have been reading you magazine . and I have found so many things that I wish to look at .and also I have found out how to do things the right way so thank you . and I look forward reading more so please hurry with your next magazine . as I enjoy reading them

  86. I love this sun burnt country and want to see its sweeping plains; the diversity in land and its people. We have had a fortunate if modest life and have toured and stayed in hotels around the World. In these mad times of conflict however, we are reminded of this wide brown land but I will only get my Wife on the road in the luxury and safety of a JB Caravan

  87. Congrats on the 4×4 show at Eastern Ck. We live in Newy and had a great meet with friends from Canberra. Learnt a lot and kept my wallet in my pocket but very tempted. If I had a few extra dollars before I wouldn’t have after. Look forward to next years event.

  88. Been retired for 3 years now, and thoroughly enjoying getting into our little old camper and heading bush. We are looking at an regrettable but inevitable. upgrade.
Got to be in it to win it as they say……Jan

  89. Would love the chance to win and have the opportunity to camp using such quality gear for a change. My wife would enjoy the comfort. Been camping, visiting many different places for years always watch Pat Callinans for different suggestions. best of luck everyone.

  90. Oh yippee, what a dream prize! Have my fingers, toes and even hairs crossed (hair is curly so that’s easy!) for luck. Meanwhile will keep on dreaming 😍. Good luck everyone

  91. As age pensioners, we had to sell our van several years ago for financial reasons. We have been lucky to visit a lot of Australia, but it is a big land & there is plenty more to see. We would appreciate the opportunity to caravan again, particularly as we live in S.A. & our eldest daughter lives in W.A. We love crossing the Nullabor & winning a prize such as yours would enable us to continue to do this for a few more years yet. We love your magazine too..plenty of informative articles in there.
Good luck with it. regards, Roger

  92. We just love our beautiful country and we love how you present it to us we have a 4wd ute and the van would complement it for our outback travels love the show and the magazine so much

  93. Retirement is on the horizon and maybe a bigger van and so the boss and I may be able to make new tracks but if we do not well done to the winners

  94. What a Great Prize to win That’s what Dreams are all about . Traveling around our Great Country Thanks have great day Cheers Robert
