The Newcastle Caravan Camping Lifestyle Expo is running from Friday the 3rd of February to Sunday the 5th of February

You can speak to the experts on the spot, compare models and prices and even have a walkthrough of the display models.

Camper trailers

If you’re looking to travel Australia in a camper trailer but don’t know which brand or model you’d even be interested in, this expo is absolutely for you. With a huge selection of brands in attendance, such as Cub Campers, Jayco Newcastle and OPUS Camper & Hybrids, you’ll be spoilt for choice! Take your travel partner along with you to have a look and take some pictures of the models on display. You’ll have the chance to chat to the experts and ask any burning questions that have been bridging a gap between you and your next camper trailer purchase. This freedom comes with the valuable choice to choose where you go and how you spend your time off-road. Awnings

Living in Australia comes with the awareness that sun protection is needed. Most of us have had “slip slop slap”, the core message of Cancer Council’s SunSmart program, constantly drilled into our minds. And for good reason! The Aussie sun is no joke and if you go up against it without protection, you and your lobster-coloured sunburn will be paying for it. A wide-brimmed hat, sunscreen and sunglasses are a great way to protect yourself when out in the elements. However, another favourite of mine that I find very effective is having an awning. Awnings can be set up next to your 4×4 or off the side of your caravan. They create a shaded area, perfect for putting your feet up and relaxing. If your furry friend has come along for the ride, they’ll also benefit from sitting underneath the awning with the family.

The event is located at Newcastle Entertainment Centre & Showground.

Parking

Free parking is available at the venue, surrounding areas and PCYC Newcastle.

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are welcome at the event, provided they remain on leash at all times.

How do I buy tickets?

You must purchase your tickets  online in advance before you enter the show. You can find them here. Tickets for adults aged 17 years old and older are $16. Concession price is $12 and children aged 16 and under are free and when accompanied by an adult. Tickets can be printed or shown on your smart device for scanning upon entry.
