One of Australia’s largest catch and photograph fishing tournaments, the North Coast Fishing Bonanza is a competition that everyone has a chance to win, whether you fish offshore, estuary, beach, rocks or in the dams. The 2017 Kakadu Bird Week program is designed to cater to experienced and beginner birdwatchers, who can join traditional owners, Parks Australia and local specialists to celebrate the Top End’s diverse birdlife. There will be experienced local birders vying to tick off the more elusive birds of Kakadu and for the beginners, there will be interactive groups helping to identify different bird species.
