Generally, this would mean hours wasted on a Friday evening unpacking the tradie gear and swapping out the camp gear. Not anymore…introducing the Q-Box!

The Q-Box is a simple concept and design that will change the way you look at spontaneous trips away. Put simply, the Q-Box is a German-built cargo solution for the back of your van. It incorporates elements such as drawers, fridge storage, a fold-out bed, cooking appointments, and bench space for days. It is lightweight, easily removable and completely modular so it will work with most popular vans on the Australian market.

The high-quality German construction using steel, aluminium and waterproof multiplex means that the Q-Box will stand the test of time and provide long-lasting ownership memories. 

When it comes to ticking boxes, the Q-Box does just that. There isn’t a feature that’s been left out and everything you’ll want to bring camping will have its special spot. Within the Q-Box there’s a stack of bench space when folded out meaning food prep, drinks and anything else you can think of is a breeze. The Q-Box has an in-built cooking compartment which includes a generous pantry, an in-built fridge slide capable of holding up to 45kgs, and even space for two x 10L containers of water and tubs for washing up or drinking. 

Our favourite feature …

One of our favourite features is the comfortable yet easily folded-away bed setup. The last thing anyone wants while camping is a rough night’s sleep. Believe me when I say you won’t have to worry about that with this. The bed can be quickly folded in or out and when set up, includes a comfortable high-density 100mm foam mattress. The frame is capable of holding up to 180kgs. With the bed frame extended and set up, the mattress measures in at a generous 115cm wide and 195cm long, meaning even those working with a size disadvantage will sleep easy. 

The obvious advantage of the Q-Box is pretty self-explanatory, it’s lightweight, versatile and easily removed. Weighing in at a total of just 75kgs and being able to be lashed in place in about 60 seconds, the Q-Box provides a quick-to-remove, quick-to-set-up and overall, relatively lightweight camping and living solution for people that don’t want all the gear in their vans fulltime. 

Now, you might be thinking, “Hold up Sam, I’ve got an early T4 Multivan, will this fit even that?” Yes, my good-looking friend, it absolutely will.
