The good folk at Gozney have outdone themselves again, unveiling the Tread, a portable pizza oven that lets you churn out top-notch wood-fired-style pizzas (and more) in off-grid locations. Beach, bush, or backyard – if you can get there in your RV or tow vehicle, you can cook there.
Designed for adventurers, the Gozney Tread is a lightweight, ultra-rugged oven that heats up to a sizzling 510ºC in just 15 minutes and cools down fast enough that you won’t be stuck waiting to pack up camp. It’s kitted out with built-in carry handles, an optional stable stand, and even a roof rack accessory that turns into a prep station. Basically, if you’ve got a 9kg LPG bottle and a decent appetite, you’re good to go.

Sure, pizza in the middle of nowhere sounds pretty epic, but Tread isn’t just about slinging margheritas under the stars. The high-temperature burner and compact design mean you can throw a skillet in there and sear a steak, roast some veggies, or even whip up a cast-iron brekkie. It’s got all the fun of a traditional wood-fired oven without the weight, bulk, or tether to a backyard.
Gozney has a solid reputation for innovation, and Tread is no exception. It comes in two colours (Off Black and Olive), is constructed from pro-grade stainless steel and ceramic-bonded aluminium, and is backed by a 5-year warranty. Whether you’re rolling up to a campsite, a beachside sunset, or a hidden mountain clearing, this oven is designed to handle the elements and feed the crew in style.

We took the Tread for a spin and put it through its paces for our sister publication, Unsealed4X4.
