A scrumptious journey from the western slopes of the Blue Mountains to the heart of the Central West wine country.
In the first episode of RV Daily’s Foodie Trails, Chef Macca, Em and Tim kick things off in Lithgow on the western edge of the Blue Mountains, where they set up the Ezytrails at Lake Wallace free camp. With loads of yummy food to indulge in, they all agree this scenic, historic town is seriously underrated!
From Lithgow, the crew heads to the quaint village of Millthorpe, where Emma has a sweet encounter and Chef Macca learns a thing or two from a hatted chef. They find another fabulous free camp at Macquarie Woods, where Tim gives some handy caravan tips.
Then, to finish up the Foodie Trail, they roll into Orange, the heart of the Central West wine country. Here, it’s a colourful, modern taste of Asia for Em, and a lesson in organic wine for Chef Macca. Finally, the crew celebrate the end of the Foodie Trail with their very first happy hour party at Colour City Caravan Park. Here they share the delicious goodies they’ve collected throughout their journey with locals and fellow travellers. Bon appetite!
