Win a year on the road: BIG4 launches the Big Aussie Review

If you’ve ever dreamed about hitching up the caravan and spending a year exploring Australia, BIG4 Holiday Parks has just launched a competition that might make that dream a reality.
Called The BIG Aussie Review, the initiative will see one lucky individual, couple or family hit the road for 365 days, travelling around the country reviewing the people, places and experiences that make Aussie road trips so memorable.
The winner will score a Ford Ranger towing a Crusader caravan, staying at BIG4 Holiday Parks along the way as they crisscross the country from the Top End to Tasmania.
But that’s not all, they’ll also receive:
For anyone who dreams of life on the road, it’s about as close as it gets to the ultimate caravanning gig.

The idea behind the BIG Aussie Review is simple. Find someone who loves travel, enjoys creating content and has a knack for discovering the small moments that make Australian road trips special.
Over the course of the year, the chosen reviewer will document their journey through videos, social media and written content, sharing the stories behind the destinations, roadside stops and communities they encounter along the way.
According to Sean Jenner, CEO of BIG4 Holiday Parks, the competition celebrates something many caravanners already know – you don’t need to leave Australia to have an incredible holiday.
“Australians don’t need a passport to have an incredible holiday – the best trips are right here in our own backyard,” Jenner said.
He added that Australians already love sharing opinions and experiences online, which made the idea of a national travel reviewer a natural fit.
“We’re a nation that loves a review, and The BIG Aussie Review is about shining the spotlight on the magical stuff and celebrating what makes travel in Australia so special.”

Over the 12-month journey, the reviewer will visit BIG4 parks across the country, exploring everything from coastal towns and surf beaches to regional communities and classic roadside stops.
It’s not just about the big-name destinations either. The aim is to capture the everyday experiences that turn a simple road trip into something memorable, whether that’s discovering a hidden country bakery, a quiet fishing spot, or a small-town pub with a good story behind it.
For caravanners and RV travellers, it’s also a reminder of how much there is to explore across Australia’s network of holiday parks and regional destinations.
Applications for The BIG Aussie Review are open now. But hurry, entries close 13th April 2026.
To enter, hopeful travellers simply need to upload a short video (up to 60 seconds) reviewing something they love. It doesn’t need to be travel-related – BIG4 just wants to see personality, creativity and storytelling.
Entries can be submitted through the official competition page.
The prize? A year-long road trip around Australia, travelling in a fully equipped Ford Ranger and Crusader caravan while staying at BIG4 Holiday Parks along the way.
Not a bad way to spend a year on the road!
